Research
Assistant
If you have ever had to do research, you know how frustrating it is to collect articles and quotes only to find out later that you missed a critical piece of information needed for the bibliography. This software is designed to help you gather all the articles and quotes you will need and at the same time, correctly record all the bibliographical information. Store articles in groups for easy retrieval. Unlimited groups and unlimited articles right at your fingertips. |
I do a lot of research and I finally got fed up with piles of magazine articles and newspapers. And when I needed to look up the article again, I couldn't find it. Even references in books were hard to find.
So, I created Research Assistant® as a way to manage all my reference material.
With this utility, you can catalog all your references by the topic that you choose. You can even build professional and college quality reference lines (credits) for your article when you catalog it. For each type of reference, there is a guide that tells you want you need to correctly and accurately annotate the reference.
The catalog reference tracks the article title, related topic(s), credit type (to help you build a proper credit line), a summary of the article for quick reference, and a place to put a key quote. It even gives you a catalog number to label and store your reference materials more efficiently.
The credit line, summary, and key quote area allow for text formatting to include bold, underscore, italics as well as left, center, and right justifications.
You can then export the complete catalog entry to text, Microsoft Word (2000 version), or to a Rich Text Formatted file.
If you are doing research of any kind, you can't afford to pass this up.
System Requirements: Windows 95 or better.
